Vehicle
Model Identification
I really need information on the GMC trucks!
I've only built 3 that I can recall. Most of what I build is made
up of several different years by the time it gets to me so I'm no expert
on exact details.

Ordering a GMC Restoration Packet for the Canadian Model
The GMC is a little more difficult to obtain information for some unknown
reason. I've found this Phone number 1 (800) 467-6853 (GM Canada
Vintage Vehicles) to call and receive a similar Restoration Packet
as the Chevrolets. This packet supposedly contains information on
(trim codes, paint codes, body numbers, plant of manufacture, engine size
etc.,).
Unlike the Chevrolet Restoration Packet which is Free, the GMC Packet
Cost is $25.00
I have not ordered a packet so I have no knowledge of how much information
is provided. If anyone has first hand knowledge on the Canadian Packet
I would like to hear what it contains and if you were pleased with the
information.

all the previous years. In fact it has very few body parts that are
interchangeable with the previous years. I think the doors, rear fenders
and maybe running board are the only major body panels that will interchange.
The front end is totally redesigned and the cab has a one piece curved
windshield and new dash. The running board to bed covers are also
different "Narrower". The bed has flat rails and tailgate was redesigned
also. The rear frame kick-up for the axles
is also changed to allow for a lower setting bed
