My Background

I've been fortunate enough to have gained my 20 plus years of knowledge and experience from working with my father.  I can't honestly tell you how many he and I have bought and sold over the years.  One summer he purchase four Chevy Trucks.  It's kind of funny that the more I learned, the more customizing he added to his vehicles.

My skills never laps because my father hates to see a Truck abandoned and always seems to buy the one nobody else would give a second glance.  It sure made him happy to put another truck on the road.

To say he loves these trucks is an understatement, just check out what his driveway looked like this summer.  He and I are wrapping up this project right now and already started on this vehicle as our next project.

The first vehicle I can remember us driving around in was a 1950 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Truck going on our many fishing trips.  Those old trucks never left us stranded.

Short Story:  We have a favorite fishing spot that has a section where the water collected and basically makes a giant mud hole.  Some days we would show up and their would be three or more 4X4 stuck in the mud waiting for the tow truck to yank them out.  Well, we would just load the back bed with some giant rocks that were near by "for traction" , shift into granny gear and putt on by all of them just grinning from ear to ear.

I've worked on various makes and models over the years but my favorites are and always will be the 1947-1954 Chevrolet /GMC Trucks.

I'm lucky in that I have the tools and ability to do all my own mechanical work, welding, bodywork, painting and wiring.  I only have to pay to have the glass cut and the front end aligned.  I frequently do minor repairs for customers to key their vehicles going to panel replacement and the occasional frame off restorations.

I really enjoy chopping tops and installing modern running gears in these old trucks.  Theirs nothing that brings a bigger smile to your face than putting a brand new car or truck in its place.  Just because my trucks old, that doesn't have to mean slow!

My Truck came about basically over a need to show customers my talent and most importantly what the imagination could create.   Their is not one panel on the truck that hasn't been modified in some way. I find it very difficult to leave a vehicle "STOCK".
